Ovando Inn & the Blackfoot
Commercial Company

Ovando has been a stop for cyclists (manual and motorized) since 1897 when 20 Buffalo Soldiers, led by Lt. James A. Moss, rode their bicycles 1,900 miles from Missoula, Montana to St. Louis, Missouri.

Since that time Ovando welcomes cyclists on the Tour Divide Race, Great Divide Trail, Bicycle Rides NW, Cycle Montana, Lewis and Clark Trail, and Park 2 Park tours, along with hundreds of folks bicycling through from all over the world.

We have a specially curated snack and grocery selection built from years of bicycles coming through, (Gummies, chocolate milk, tortillas, pickles, energy bars, oh my!). Sit on our shaded porch and enjoy a hot dog and ice cream cone before you departure, or better yet, finish the day in one of our comfy hotel rooms, when's the next time you will see a comfy bed? We also offer a shower for rent and pay by the load laundry. What more could you ask for???
